Ipswich Basketball Club are delighted to renew their sponsorship deal with Gerflor Flooring UK.
Gerflor, who provided the state of the art Taraflex Floor that our home court at Copleston High School can boast, have previously invested in the club, and have agreed to do so again, on an initial two year deal.
“The sponsorship and support Gerflor are providing the club is invaluable, and in these uncertain times due to the impact of COVID-19, and the subsequent effect that has had on the economy, and of course, club finances, it is crucial that the club continues to develop corporate partnerships with companies that wish to see this sport grow and develop” Said Ipswich Basketball Club Head Coach, Nick Drane.
Gerflor’s David Carter added “We supply hundreds of facilities per year with everyone from toddlers to elite players using our floors. The beauty for us with Ipswich is the link between the academy, the elite players and the community. Having the best clubs in the country play on our floors is always our aim but actually supporting clubs such as Ipswich in under-funded sports gives all of us at Gerflor immense pride knowing our contribution is making a difference to maybe the next superstar”.
Gerflor are specifically sponsoring the club’s livestreaming of WNBL Division One Women’s games, as well as the production of ‘highlights’ from Senior Men’s games, they will also have a significant courtside advertising presence.
Ipswich Basketball Club continue to seek partnerships with companies whose ambitions match our own. As a club we are looking to day our game day experience to the next level, as well as continue to challenge for trophies at both junior and senior level.
