Presented by The Forge Kitchen

Saturday morning saw with the U14 Girls fall to defeat in a nail-biting end of season home game to Reading Rockets. Despite the 6-point loss (64-70), huge efforts were contributed from Kuini Mate with an impressive 33 points alongside Nuria Leal Barbosa adding a further 12.

The U14 Boys took on Kent Crusaders in a road win in what could be described as the best game of the season so far for the team. Coach Ariyo stated, “The boys were amazing.” when reflecting on the game. Gaël Jacobs Da Silva shone scoring 26 points followed by Kian Naseri with 19. Harry Gladstone also left his mark in the game putting forward another 15 points for the Suffolk scoreline.

The U16 girls found themselves coming out on top in a ‘less than pretty’ match-up with London Thunder on Saturday. With the score remaining low, the girls came away with a 2-point win, finishing the game 36-34.

Sunday presented the U16 Boys with a loss to Haringey Heat, 73-61. In spite of the boys struggling to maintain consistency throughout the game, a much improved team performance was executed. Tim Rafiu led the team with a big 17 points whilst Tobi Dada scored 13.

The U18 Men found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard in another unlucky double header weekend. The boys hit the road to Islington on Saturday for an early 11am tip off, unfortunately coming away with a 81-67 loss. With scoring shared equally across the team, Femi Edu came out on top with 17 points. Robbie Cruickshanks followed with 16 while Sean McEvoy also got included in the action securing another 15.

Sunday saw the team take their second trip to London to challenge London Stars. Despite the closer match-up the boys fell to defeat taking a 76-65 loss. Harry Laws aided the team with a huge 22 points while Charlie Smythe fixed an extra 20 points.
