Weekly Junior Wrap: U12's collect another W

The U12 Mixed team grinded out a huge 108-56 win against West Suffolk Wolves on Sunday. The dominant duo, Freya Drane and Jacob Geaves, impacted the game heavily with an impressive 39 and 30 points while Natalia Lawicka also presented her talent contributing 18 for the team.

A weekend of mixed fortunes for the U14 Girls as Saturday saw the team fall to defeat to a strong Kingston team on the road, 37-81. Playing up an age group, Freya Drane once again shone aiding the team with 13 points while teammate, Kuini Mate, scored 8.

However, Sunday saw a turn of the tables when the Suffolk side took a trip to Bristol, grabbing a 72-43 win. Kuini Mate continued her scoring streak with an impressive 26 points alongside a 15 point contribution from Mercedes Nelson.


An unfortunate weekend for the U14 Boys as they suffered a home loss to BAD Thunder. Harry Gladstone added 24 for the Ipswich score line followed by Franek Wotjan who scored 10. Riley Erskine also provided 6 points for the boys.


The U16 Girls found themselves on the wrong end of a 87-49 scoreline on Saturday morning in the capital to London Elite.


The U18 Men fight out a 66-51 win to London Legends on the road on Saturday. Charlie Smythe led the team with 21 followed by Sam Wood with 14. Femi Edu also got in on the action contributing 12 points for the Suffolk side.
