Ipswich Basketball Club today announced the date for Club Trials for the forthcoming 2019/20 season.
Ipswich Basketball Club is looking for players to join the family. IBC is the only National League Premier club in Suffolk, which represents the highest tier of Junior competition in the country. This weekend our U14 Girls become the fourth Junior team to represent Ipswich in the Junior Final Fours in the past three years, joining our U16 Boys and Girls in 2018, and our U16 Girls in 2017.
Trials will take place on Saturday 25th May 2019, free of charge, and will trial for teams ranging between U12 and U18. The full list is below:
Age group information
As each Team covers two age groups (i.e. U16 covers both U16 and U15 players), it is essential that prospective players know which team they should be trialling for:
School Years 5 & 6 - Under 12s
School Years 7 & 8 - Under 14s
School Years 9 & 10 - Under 16s
School Years 11 & 12 - Under 18s
School Year refers to current school year, as of May 2019.
Further information
Each trial will last 1 hour and players are expected to arrive equipped to practice (i.e. in basketball appropriate sportswear and with a suitable drink)
Every player is expected to trial, even if you were on a team the previous season
There is no cost
There is no need to register interest, please just turn up on the day.
