Weekly Junior Wrap: A big road win for the U16 Girls!

After a much improved second half performance, the U16 Boys lose out to Haringey Heat on Saturday. Tim Rafiu led the team with 19 points to close the game out 73-68. Okeri Hambira and Tobi Dada contributed 12 and 10.

The U16 Girls grabbed a big win in the capital against London Thunder on Sunday with a 52-25 scoreline. Kara Bassil scored 13 points with teammate, Tanaia Robinson following with 11. Anna Koscielny-Lamaire also added 10 to help the team.


An unlucky weekend for the U18s after the U18 Men lose 84-75 to Baltic Stars. Charlie Smythe had 24 points while Femi Edu scored 15. Harry Laws followed closely behind with 12. The U18 Women travelled to the city of Manchester on Sunday afternoon to compete for a space in the National Cup Final. After a hard-fought battle, the girls fell short by 2 points allowing Manchester to grab the 68-66 win to advance. Despite the loss, Hannah Gray top scored with 16 points while Cerys Leach added 15. The girls are set to challenge London Thunder at HQ this Sunday.
