An unlucky weekend at Endeavour Ipswich Basketball Club as our junior teams fall to defeat.
The U12 Mixed team take a loss on the road at Bedford Thunder on Saturday closing the game out 78-64. Jacob Geaves showcased his talent for the third week running as top scorer with 40 points as Freya Drane contributed 10.
Coach Ariyo stated “our boys were great” after the U14 Boys experienced a tough loss to an excellent London Legends at home Saturday morning. Gaël Jacobs Da Silva led the scoring with 40 while Harry Gladstone followed with 12. Riley Erskine also assisted with 8 points.
The U14 Girls fell to defeat against Sussex Storm, unable to close the 30 point gap, away from home. The final score was 73-43.
The U16 Boys dropped a game this Saturday with a scoreline of 111-77 to London Stars I at home. Tobi Dada top scored with 31 while Jaziah Mussington added 21 respectively.
This weekend also saw the U16 Girls face a tough Luton team at HQ. Unfortunately, the girls fell short in a very tense game, finishing in a double overtime loss of 64-68.
