The U12 Mixed team lost against Oakland Wolves at home on Saturday. Jacob Geaves scored 18 while Freya Drane scored 12.
An unfortunate weekend for the U14 Boys as they took a hit from London Stars despite contributions from Gaël Jacobs Da Silva who led the team with 27 points and Harry Gladstone who had 10.
The U14 Girls fell to defeat at HQ Saturday when Solent handed them a 28 point loss. Top scorer, Nuria Leal-Barbosa scored 10 followed closely by Kuini Mate who gave 9.
An early Saturday morning game saw the U16 Boys win in the capital away to a London Stars II team. Tim Rafiu scored an impressive 20 points followed by teammate Isaac Little who had 17. Okeri Hambira also got in on the action scoring 14 points. With a finishing score of 79-58, the team now takes the crown for Team Performance of the Week.
The U16 Girls were on the wrong side of a 81-66 scoreline vs Newham Youngbloods Saturday afternoon at HQ. The loss saw joint contributions from the team with Anna Koscielny-Lamaire and Kara Bassil top scoring with 16, while Elisa Njapou and Tanaia Robinson both had 13.
Robbie Cruickshanks gave his efforts with 16 points in the U18 Men loss on the road to a good Sussex Storm team. Closing the game out 90-68, Sam Wood and Sean McEvoy also pitched in with 12 and 10. The boys now stand 1-2 in the NBL.
