The Under 16 Girls and Under 18 Women both secured big wins this weekend as there are mixed fortunes for the Boys teams.
The weekend kicked off with the Under 14 Boys at home to Northampton Titans. They earned a 103-66 win with Jaziah Mussington leading the scoring with a huge 41 points with support from Anthony Lawicki and Jake Woolbridge who got 22 and 11 respectively.
The U16 Boys followed them at home where they fell short against the Baltic Stars with the game finishing 59-90. Matt Liddamore top scored with 19 points followed by Kalen Gouldbourne with 18 and Tim Rafiu with 10.
The Under 16 Girls continued their amazing start to the season on the road with an 81-24 win in Brentwood. Important contributions came from DeAnna Carrington (20), Cerys Leach (19) and Maia Wiseman (17).
On Sunday, the Under 18 Women continued the successful theme of the weekend at home with a 105-41 victory over the Reading Rockets. Top scorer was Yazmin Edwards who got 22 points with Olivia Forster (17) and Ella Hawes (10) in support. This continues their perfect start to the season as they move to 2-0.
The Under 18 Women and Under 16 Girls have also had success in the National Cup this season and they will play a double-header in the Semi-Finals of the competition on Sunday 4th December in what will be a historic day for Ipswich Basketball Club.
